I cannot decide where 2004 ranks in regards to previous years' top tens - the quality of pictures usually reflects my enjoyment of the year overall, and each of the past three years in Paris has been outstanding. The 2004 top ten almost exclusively features wilderness shots, not surprising considering that the majority of our weekends and trips focus on the great outdoors. Again, remember that these pictures were not chosen according to any specific criteria, but merely as the photos that gave me the greatest satisfaction. Humor, panoramic beauty, fond memory...all characteristics that make a photo worth choosing. 2004 was the third year using my Canon Powershot S200, and will also be my last, as I purchased the latest-greatest Canon in January 2005. The S200 served me well with 1000's of quality pictures in a variety of extreme conditions.
